The artist mostly works from photographs.
Once a decision is made to commission a painting, a contract is signed.
After this, the artist likes to discuss over phone or in person and understand your requirements regarding size and pose. Any specific details of background, clothing, accessories are discussed and if possible the original pieces collected for reference. Reference photographs are also collected.
The artist can make suggestions on the size of the painting depending on where it will be displayed.
When the painting is almost complete, the artist likes a meeting if possible to get a feedback to make final changes and give final touches. If a meeting is not possible, the same is done through a photograph via email.
Most paintings can be completed in a 3-5 week time frame.
Completed paintings are delivered framed or unframed depending on the client's choice. |
